The Riverside Community College District is located in Riverside,
California, 60 miles east of Los Angeles and Southland beaches, near the
San Bernardino mountain range and ski resorts, and within an hour's drive
of desert resorts. Riverside Community College District has three campuses
that serve the educational needs of students within a 450 square mile
area. The current enrollment of approximately 36,000 students is
distributed at approximately 20% at Moreno Valley Campus, 20% at Norco
Campus, and 60% at Riverside City Campus. RCCD is seeking outstanding
candidates for the positions of:
CULINARY ARTS INSTRUCTOR
Riverside Culinary Academy
This is a Non-Tenure track, categorically funded position. Responsible for
lecture and/or laboratory instruction in Riverside Culinary Academy
courses. Qualifications: Minimum of an Associate's degree or the
equivalent is required. Must be ACF certified and have a minimum of six
years of full-time industry experience. Certification in Pastry Art is
preferred. Experience with all aspects of running a culinary establishment
and instructional experience required. Experience with organizing banquets
and catering special events is also required. CCE certificate and
community college or baccalaureate level teaching experience is desired.
