Position Summary:
The Culinary Chef Director is the principal academic officer for the
Culinary program. Responsibilities include: day-to-day operations,
assisting students toward successful program completion and staffing the
classroom with qualified and credentialed instructors who support the
mission, values and vision of the college. The Culinary Chef Director is
co-responsible with the Dean of Academic Affairs for the fiscal well being
of the department as it relates to education. The Director also
participates in activities that promote the stature of the department and
the college and abides by the mandates set by the Board of Trustees, The
Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago President, and the Executive
Committee.
Position Requirements:
Culinary Management Experience and Masters Degree Required. Familiarity
with ACF, HLC/NCA, ACCSCT accreditation.
