Position: Hotel Restaurant Management / Culinary Technology
Instructor Institution: Cape Fear Community College Location: North Carolina Date posted: 6/16/2003 CAPE FEAR COMMUNITY COLLEGE, HOTEL RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT / CULINARY TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR. This full-time, 9-month position is projected to begin on or before August 2003, subject to available funding and will remain open until filled. Current minimum entry-level salary is based on degree and experience. A full benefits package is included in the contract. This position may include day, evening, weekend, or off campus assignments. Job duties include computer applications. Minimum requirement is a Master's degree in Hospitality Management or a closely related field. Significant industry experience is crucial in establishing credibility of instructor in order to receive voluntary accreditation from CAHM (Hospitality) and ACF (American Culinary Federation). Accreditation by the NRAEF to teach ServSafe Sanitation courses and one or more years experience in Lodging, Marketing, Hospitality Info Systems, Accounting, or Purchasing is highly desirable. One or more years of experience in an instructional setting as a tutor or teacher is preferred.
