North Dakota State University invites applications
for the Director of the GPIFS within the College of Agriculture, Food
Systems, and Natural Resources. Additionally the opportunity exists to
have a faculty appointment in an appropriate academic department. The
successful candidate will provide leadership for a multidisciplinary food
safety team of researchers and educators in GPIFS. The director will be
responsible for promoting the mission of GPIFS, which is to ensure the
security of our food supply and otherwise serve the food safety needs of
our stakeholders. In addition to administrative oversight, the director
will serve as the liaison for GPIFS in communication with upper
administration. The director will seek additional funding opportunities
for food safety activities at the local, state, and federal levels. Active
participation in educational activities, curriculum development, and/or
