Hotel/Lodging: The School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism
Management at the University of South Carolina seeks an assistant or
associate professor in the area of hotel/lodging. The faculty member would
develop new lodging courses and assist in the further development of the
hotel area within the School. The School currently serves 420
undergraduate and 45 graduate students. The position requires an earned
doctorate in Hospitality and Tourism or in a related field. Applicants
should provide evidence of successful teaching at the college level as
well as evidence of ability to engage in scholarly activity. Practical
experience in hotel operations is preferred. Expected appointment date is
August 16, 2004. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
