POSITION: Foods and Nutrition faculty position in the
Department of Health Sciences, Dietetics Program.
RANK: Assistant Professor, Tenure Track
QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral degree in food and nutrition or
a related area and R.D. status required. Desired
qualities include prior teaching experience in food and
nutrition, and experience developing and delivering
distance education courses. Candidate must possess a
commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and
service. Potential for scholarly activity should be
evident.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The individual in this position will
teach undergraduate and graduate courses in foods, food
science, nutrition, and food service management in an
ADA-accredited DPD program, conduct research and
community-based outreach and training programs, advise
undergraduate and graduate students, direct graduate
student research, and participate in departmental,
college, university, and professional activities.
SALARY: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications
and experience.
STARTING DATE: August 16, 2004
