Woosong University of Daejeon, South Korea, enrolls approximately 5,000
students and provides specialized education to meet the demands of the
information era of the 21st century.
INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS CONSULTANT
Applicants must have extensive experience in developing university level
international programs such as joint degree programs, dual degree
programs, student and faculty exchange programs, etc. Must have widespread
network with universities in the U.S., Canada, and/or England. The
Consultant will reside in the U.S. and be a liaison for Woosong
University. Will work closely with the Director of International Programs
to communicate and exchange ideas and will submit activity reports
quarterly. Fees and other expenses will be paid according to performance.
This position is not a full-time position but is project-based; therefore,
you may be able to take the position without interrupting your current
employment.
The Consultant may be considered for full-time position based on
accomplishments attained, at which time the position may be negotiated.
FULL-TIME FACULTY POSITIONS
The University is currently seeking full-time faculty positions in eight
departments for the following majors:
· TESOL/ESL/ELT/EFL
· Culinary Arts
· Management Information Systems (MIS)
· Information Science Technology (IST)
· E-business
· Sports and Fitness Management
· Hotel and Restaurant Management
· Computer Science
· Tourism Management
· Occupational Therapy (OTR Licensed)
· Computer Design (Animation, Visual Communication, Branding Design,
Digital Media)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: teaching related classes,
designing and developing new programs, providing leadership and new ideas
to the department. Must have ability to function in challenging teaching
and research-oriented environment. Applicants should hold at least a
Master's degree and have industry, teaching & research experience in the
related field by July 31, 2003.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACADEMIC DIRECTOR
Woosong Language Institute is looking for an English Language Academic
Director who will design and develop new programs, supervise faculty and
staff, and assume a light weekly lecture schedule. Applicants should have
at least a Master's degree in TESOL, 5 years of teaching experience, and 3
years of supervisory experience. Excellent writing, speaking, and
interpersonal skills are a must.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE LECTURER
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of
teaching experience. MA or Ph.D in TESOL is preferred. The position
entails lecturing and teaching conversational English.
For all positions, salary is commensurate with experience, education, and
