Founded in 1994 the Mausi
Sebess Institute has national accreditation and approvals in its
occupational education programs in culinary arts. Named as one of
Latinamerica's highest quality culinary arts institute by the
prestigious "Gula" magazine of Brazil, the school represented
Argentina as a national team in Luxembourg's Culinary World Cup in
2002 winning bronze medals -the first for Latinamerica- both in
hot kitchen and the cold table. In Argentina's 2003 National
Cooking Schools' Tournament the school's teams won gold medals in
both Cuisine and Pastry.
Intensive one week
(40 hours) cuisine, pastry, cold buffet and bakery courses are
held in January and February. from March till December, all
culinary education programs are held on a regular once per week
basis. Located 20 minutes from downtown Buenos Aires,
the Institute currently enrolls more de 1.100 students.
