Boardwalk Casino brings a touch of Coney Island to the Las Vegas strip. A subsidiary of casino giant MGM Mirage (which acquired Boardwalk's former parent, Mirage Resorts, in 2000), the company operates the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino. The casino offers some 550 slot machines, 20 gaming tables, and a race and sports book. The facility also sports a 654-room hotel, a live entertainment venue, two swimming pools, three restaurants, a gazebo for weddings, and about a dozen shops. The Boardwalk Hotel and Casino is located between MGM Mirage's Bellagio and Monte Carlo casinos.
