If Al Gore invented the Internet, then perhaps The Big New Yorker was named after Hillary Rodham Clinton. Pizza Hut is the world's #1 pizza chain; it has some 12,100 outlets in the US and nearly 90 other countries. Besides the popular The Big New Yorker pizza, the company offers its flagship Pan Pizza, Thin n' Crispy, Pizzeria Stuffed Crust, Hand Tossed, and Sicilian. The chain, with its characteristic red roof restaurants, offers dine-in, carry-out, and delivery service. Along with KFC and Taco Bell , Pizza Hut was spun off from PepsiCo in 1997 and is now a division of Yum! Brands (formerly known as TRICON Global). The company is expanding quickly in the UK with plans to open 75 new restaurant and delivery outlets in 2002. It currently has about 450 UK outlets.
