Bodegas y Bebidas is fermenting the Spanish wine market. Part of Allied Domecq, the company owns "bodegas," or wineries, in all eight of Spain 's main wine-producing regions and recently acquired a vineyard in Chile . Bodegas y Bebidas represents about 10 wineries in Spain and is involved in every aspect of wine making -- from grape growing to marketing and exporting. Sales of high-quality wines account for about 75% of the company's sales. Bodegas y Bebidas exports wine to more than 60 countries on five continents. It was bought by Allied Domecq in 2001.
