Bodegas Riojanas brings fine wine to dinner tables throughout Spain. From growing grapes to aging wine and putting it in bottles, the company produces and distributes high-end wine from Spain's famed Rioja region. Its top labels include Canchales, Monte Real, Viña Albina, and Puerta Vieja. Bodegas Riojanas wine is sold across Europe, but Spain accounts for more than 80% of sales. The founding Frías-Artecho and Artecho-Nieto families help run the company and own 26% of its stock; president Luis Zapatero Gonzalez owns 7%. Bodegas Riojanas also owns 83% of Bodegas Torreduero, another maker of Spanish wine and liquor.
