Vina Concha y Toro S.A., founded in 1883, is a Latin American wine company that owns and operates vineyards that grow grapes for use in its wine-making operations, vinification plants (which convert grapes into wine), bottling plants and a wine distribution network. Vina Concha y Toro ships its products to over 75 countries worldwide. Through its subsidiary, Comercial Peumo Ltda. (Comercial Puemo), the Company has 16 branch offices running the length of Chile . The Company has over 3,300 hectares of vineyards ranging from the Casablanca to Maule Valleys . Concha y Toro has numerous products covering many segments, comprised of many different grape stocks that are representative of Chilean winemaking. Within Chile , the Company leases three vineyards and owns 15 others. These are located in five of Chile 's six principal wine grape-growing valleys.

Don Melchor is a Chilean wine from harvests exclusively in Puente Alto, which is set at the foot of the mountains in the
Maipo Valley , and is in the variety of cabernet sauvignon. Don Melchor is aged in French oak for 12 months and then in bottles for a further year. Amelia is a variety of chardonnay from the Casablanca Valley . Amelia is a limited-production wine. In the cellars, the wine is fermented in French oak barriques, lying on the lees for seven months, and later is bottle-aged for a further six. Marques de Casa Concha is available in the varieties of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and chardonnay. The Trio wines are from the Maipo, Rapel and Casablanca valleys, and are available in varieties of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and chardonnay. The Casillero del Diablo line is a family of wines from the Maipo, Rapel and Casablanca Valleys , as well as from El Triangulo and Valle Central. They are available in the merlot, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc varieties.

The Explorer line, launched in 1995, is a quest to expand horizons by marrying non-traditional grape stocks into Chilean winemaking. These are available in the varieties of cabernet syrah, malbec, pinot noir, syrah and sauvignon blanc. The Company's
Sunrise wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks to secure the essence of the fruit. These wines are available in the cabernet sauvignon, merlot, pinot noir, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc varieties. In addition, the Company also offers champagnes in the brut and demi sec varieties, which are from the Rapel Valley and also fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Vina Concha y Toro's bottling plant is located in
Santiago , Chile . It bottles wine in five-liter glass jugs, as well as Tetra Brik packages, which are made of several layers of paper, aluminum and polyethylene.

The Company's distribution business is conducted through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Comercial Puemo, Transportes Viconto Ltda. and Distrubutdora Puemo Argentina S.A. In December 2000, the Company formed a fully owned sales and distribution subsidiary in the United Kingdom, Concha y Toro UK Limited.
