The Charlie Trotter Culinary Education Foundation

From time to time, we host fund-raising dinners at the restaurant to support The Culinary Education Foundation. Charlie Trotter's restaurant donates the man-power and works with purveyors to reduce the costs for these dinners, which allows almost 100% of the money raised to go directly towards scholarships. We award scholarships to several different students each spring. The scholarship can be used both toward tuition and room and board.

Scholarships are awarded by individual Chapters of LDEI. Each of our 20 Chapters around the US, Canada and Australia select scholars (or other charitable recipients) and participating higher education institutions for the culinary arts via their own criteria.

We welcome inquiries form potential scholars looking for financial assistance in pursuing their career in the culinary arts. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship through any of our Chapters, please contact our Executive Director, Greg Jewell, gjewell@aecmangement.com and he will send you a short questionnaire. Upon your completion of that questionnaire, he will forward your scholarship inquiry to the appropriate Chapter for follow up.
