Description
The Dr. Tom Anderson Memorial Scholarship is open to full-time students
pursuing a degree in a travel and tourism-related field. To be considered
for the award, you must have completed 50% of your studies in a North
American two- or four-year college and have a minimum 3.0 GPA . In
addition, you must submit two letters of recommendation, a resume, a
current college transcript and an essay. The essay must address one of the
following topics: International Inbound Tourism, Intergenerational Travel,
Effects of Technological Advancements on Tourism, Cultural Diversity,
Impact of Group Tourism, Career Opportunities in the Industry, Niche
Marketing or Heritage Tourism.
